Acknowledgment:
The passenger hereby acknowledges having read all the provisions of this Agreement and understands that by accepting tickets and vouchers he will be held by the General Terms and Conditions set forth here. Booking a vacation involves an agreement between you and those who provide the services. Twinsburg Travel makes the arrangements for the provision of the services booked.
Responsibility & Liability:
As a travel agency, Twinsburg Travel with the help of the tour companies and cruise lines, organizes, promotes and sells tour programs consisting of hotel and/or cruise cabin accommodations, transportation and other travel services which it purchases or reserves from certain suppliers. Twinsburg Travel does not own or operate, nor is it an agent for any of the suppliers which will provide goods and services for the trip or for any option which may be available in connection with the trip (including optional side trips, car rentals, etc.). Twinsburg Travel shall act only as agents for the passenger in making arrangements for hotels, cruise lines, transportation, restaurants, or any other service and does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence of, or default of, any hotel, cruise line, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour, or by an act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or other causes beyond their personal control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event; during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. Twinsburg Travel cannot guarantee against failure of any such suppliers. Accordingly, participant(s) agree to seek remedies directly with the supplier and not to hold Twinsburg Travel liable, in the absence of its or their negligence, for any loss, injury, delay, expense or damage which results directly or indirectly from any action or omission, whether negligent, criminal or otherwise, of any entity providing goods or services for the trip or any available option (e.g., the quality of services, cleanliness of a hotel, construction disturbance, remodeling, large group attendances, amenities such has pools or restaurants closed or not available, hotel overbooking, cancellation of services, cessation of operations, accidents, failure of equipment, changes in fares, itineraries or schedules or any flight delay). Participant(s) also agree not to hold Twinsburg Travel liable for circumstances beyond its or their control (e.g., acts of God, fires, earthquakes, floods, climatic aberrations, acts of governmental authorities, civil unrest, strikes, riots, theft, disease, accidents or failures related to the public Internet, telecommunications lines or facilities, or third party technology systems, piracy and terrorism, or any other cause beyond the control of Twinsburg Travel. In the event of an unanticipated overbooking the resort company reserves the right to relocate travelers to an accommodation or resort of equal or greater value. Twinsburg Travel will help the travelers in any way possible but ultimate responsibility lies with the resort company directly. All coupons, receipts, passes, and tickets issued by the hotels, carriers and other suppliers are issued on the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers. Twinsburg Travel does not have the authority to vary these terms. The hotels, carriers, and other suppliers, which provide services in connection with these tours, are independent contractors and are not agents of Twinsburg Travel. Twinsburg Travel has no control over them. Accordingly, we are not responsible if any of them fail to deliver services or commit any other negligent or willful act or omission. If a lawsuit should come about, Twinsburg Travel reserves the right to have all cases held within Twinsburg Travel’s county and state. (Summit, Ohio)
Reservations and Payment:
Deposit of $200.00 per room is required at time of booking. Some reservations require more than the $200 per room deposit. Full payment must be made 60 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 60 days of departure are subject to immediate payment in full. Sale Airline Ticket Price: The sale airline ticket price is only guaranteed when purchased, paid in full and ticketed. Twinsburg Travel reserves the right to cancel any booking and to release air and/or hotel – cruise reservations relating to such booking, for which full payment has not been received at least 30 days prior to departure. During certain periods final payment date may be changed.
Credit Card Booking & Other Payment Forms:
Your authorization to use your Credit Card number for deposit / payment and/or final payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Verbal authorization of the use of your Credit Card confirms your reservation.
Revisions/Changes:
Changes and/or corrections are subject to airline fees. No name changes on scheduled airfares. All revisions / changes need to be in writing and sent via either regular mail or email. If sent via email, the email address needs to be from person that paid and the email account that was originally used when booking reservation.
Not Included In Package Price:
Package price does not include (unless specified in writing) porterage at airports, hotels or cruise ships; tips to local representatives, sightseeing guides, restaurant employees, hotel bellman, butlers, concierge services, and chambermaids; wines, liquors, laundry or any other items of a personal nature as well as any items not specifically mentioned within itinerary. Tipping is left to your discretion.
Departure Tax:
A Departure Tax is to be paid in cash at the airport, upon leaving the Island, if not included in airline ticket. Departure taxes vary depending on Island. Average Departure Tax is $25, per ticketed passenger.
Package Price Guarantee:
The purchase price may be guaranteed against increases only when full payment is actually received by Twinsburg Travel. Twinsburg Travel reserves the right to re-invoice your reservation should an error be made in computing your package price. All bookings are subject to any applicable fare increases or surcharges. Rates are subject to change for events beyond control of Twinsburg Travel including, but not limited to, increases in or establishment of fuel or other surcharges, departure taxes, tariffs or passenger facility charges. Land and Air portion is guaranteed once paid in full and ticketed. Example: The airlines implement a $40.00 per person, per ticket, airline fuel surcharge. This will raise the cost of all tickets not paid for, not ticketed and printed.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellation of vacation before the final payment has been made or before the final payment due date (which ever comes first); will be charged up to the full deposited amount. Cancellation of vacation after the final payment has been made or after the final payment due date (which ever comes first), the cancellation could be up to 100% non-refundable. Some airline tickets or vacation packages are non-refundable. Please check with your travel agent. Twinsburg Travel strongly recommends Travel Protection. All cancellations need to be in writing and sent via either regular mail or email. If sent via email, the email address needs to be from person that paid and the email account that was originally used when booking reservation.
Refunds For Unused Services:
Unused hotel nights are refundable only if they cover a minimum of two consecutive nights and only to the extent that the tour operator receives a refund from the hotel, after deducting cancellation charges levied by the hotel, if any. Any Hotel / Resort refunds must be approved and in writing by the Hotel, Resort or Cruise. Unused transfers and/or sightseeing tours included in the basic tours will only be refunded to the extent that the tour operator receives a refund from the supplier. All refunds for unused services, no-shows or early departure passengers are required to submit to Twinsburg Travel written proof from the hotel or other operator that services are refundable. To be accepted, all refund claims should be presented to Twinsburg Travel no later than 30 days after the trip has ended.
Documents:
Documents are sent after final/full payment is made and 20 – 30 days prior to your travel date.
Requests:
Requests, for example room locations, adjoining rooms, bed preferences, in-flight seating requirements, cribs and/or rollaway bedding etc., cannot be guaranteed by Twinsburg Travel. While the airline or resort will attempt to accommodate such special requests, Twinsburg Travel cannot be held responsible if such special requests cannot be fulfilled. All requests are based on availability. Upon checking in with the hotel, requests will be known.
Physically Challenged:
Twinsburg Travel cannot guarantee that destination airports, transfer vehicles and accommodations will be wheelchair accessible. Services required for handling physically challenged are not included in the package price.

Domestic Travel:
Domestic (within the United States) travel by U.S. citizens, a government issued photo I.D.
International Travel:
Air travel flying out of the United States. Most cruise lines also follow this requirement of having a passport
U.S. Citizens:
All citizens, including children and infants, are required to carry a Valid Passport. Valid Passport is required for all air travel flying out of the United States. It is your responsibility to know what documentation you need in order to travel to/from your destination.
If you are denied boarding due to lack of documentation or incorrect documentation, you will not be entitled to any refund nor will the travel agency or tour company be liable for any additional charges or fees. If Passport is expired, you may be denied travel. If your Passport expires while you are traveling you may NOT be allowed re-entry into the United States. United States citizens are required to have a valid passport to enter or re-enter the USA via airline transportation. Most cruise lines also follow this requirement. Visit www.travel.state.gov for information on how you can obtain a passport, including forms, fees and how to locate a passport acceptance facility near you. Married or divorced women traveling under any name other than what is printed on their documentation & Identification required must supply a marriage license and/or divorce decree (copy is acceptable).
Authorization for Travel with Minors:
There may be additional requirements for persons under the age of 18 traveling without both parents. You may be required to produce a document with notarized signatures of the absent parent(s) providing authority to travel with their child. Without documentation, an unnecessary delay could result in denied boarding.

Customs and Immigration:
Customs and/or immigration officials can, at their own discretion, deny the passengers entry into their country. A previous criminal record could be an obstacle in international travel, leading to denied entry. Twinsburg Travel cannot be held responsible for denied entry under any circumstances. Participants are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, for following travel instructions, for complying with customs regulations, for procuring any insurance they desire, and for complying with the laws of the place to which they are traveling.
Baggage Limitations & Baggage Weight Limits:
It is your responsibility to check directly with the airline carrier(s) of their Baggage Limitations and Baggage Weight Limits. Limitations for scheduled air vary by carrier. You could incur additional expenses if you go over the limitations. You will not be entitled to any refund. For most airline carriers they allow 2 pieces of checked baggage and one carry-on piece per ticketed traveler. Each piece of checked baggage may not exceed a weight of 50 lbs. for domestic travel and 70 lbs. for international travel or 62” linear length+width+height.
Auto Cancellation of Airline Ticket(s), Airline Ticket Price(s) and/or Flight Schedules:
If airline ticket(s) are not paid in full and ticketed 30 days before your departure date, the airline reservation may automatically cancel, resulting in loss of your airline ticket price and/or flight schedule. This auto cancellation is from the airlines directly. Payment is due by final payment date and is the responsibility of the airline ticketed passenger(s). Credit card final payment that is declined or a NSF Check will also be the responsibility of the Airline Ticket Passenger(s) and may result in Auto Cancellation.
Aircraft, Flight Changes and Delays:
Participant(s) are subject to the ticket terms and tariffs of the airlines which, when issued, shall be the sole contract between the airline and the participant.
Airport Check-In:
All flight times, flight itineraries & carriers are subject to change with or without prior notice. Twinsburg Travel recommends that you contact the airline within 24 hours of departure to confirm your departure time. During bad weather (ex: rain / snow, etc.), confirm flights again before leaving for the airport. In General, you must be Checked-In and at the Gate at least 45 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Baggage must be Checked-In 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time to avoid being denied boarding. Allow enough additional time to clear all security point checks. It is your responsibility when confirming your flights, directly with the airline carrier(s), of their required check-in time(s). Early Morning Departure Flights, Confirm What Time The Airport Counter Will Open For Your Check-In. Twinsburg Travel cannot be held responsible if you miss your flight or are denied boarding. Carriage and services performed and tickets issued by the air carrier are subject to the rules relating to liability and the terms and conditions herein by the air carrier directly.
Flight Schedule:
Twinsburg Travel does not guarantee any specific flight schedule. Twinsburg Travel is not responsible, nor has control of the seating assignments, flight schedules, airline equipment changes or flight cancellation. The airline can change a non-stop flight to a stop with change of airplanes. In the event the air carrier with whom the tour company has a contract to perform the air transportation described is delayed in performance or unable to perform with such aircraft, the provisions of the air carrier’s tariff shall govern the rights and obligations of both parties. Any additional expenses incurred due to airline scheduling will be the responsibility of the passengers. Airline Charter Seats are assigned at the airport, day of departure. Airline Scheduled Air Seats are assigned when making the reservation, and seat assignment is based on availability. If the Airline Scheduled Air has a schedule change or equipment change, your original assigned seats may change or become airport assigned. This is from the Airline Scheduled Air directly. Neither Twinsburg Travel nor the Tour Company has control of the seating assignments.

Printed Literature:
Twinsburg Travel is not responsible for incorrect or outdated pre-printed resort literature such as, but not limited to flyers or brochures.
Resort, Cruise, Resort Company or Cruise Company reserves the right to change or withdraw any features, facilities or inclusions at any time without notice.
Travel Protection Plans ~ Insurance
Prices are controlled by wholesaler(s) and can be increased without prior notice. The Travel Protection Plan policy is not refundable. Twinsburg Travel strongly recommends Travel Protection. Safeguard yourself against cancellation charges and additional expenses you may incur before and after the departure of your trip. Client acknowledges that the terms set forth and found in the tour company or cruise line Travel Protection Plan brochure supersedes any advice given by Twinsburg Travel about what the policy may cover.
The basic Travel Protection Plan policy provides limited benefits, health insurance only. It does NOT provide basic hospital, basic medical or major medical insurances. Travel Protection Plan coverage and prices vary by Tour Company or Cruise Line. If your vacation package is booked and reserved thru multiple sources (ex. Tour Company, Cruise Line and/or an Airline direct), you may have to purchase multiple Travel Protection Plans to be fully covered. Travel Protection Plan covers all parties traveling, along with immediate family members. Below is an example policy and is only a partial description of the coverage, which is subject to certain restrictions and exclusions. For full coverage booklet please request one from your travel agent.
Basic Medical Plan: Trip Cancellation / Interruption Insurance covering up to the total tour cost for accidental injury, sickness, death, jury duty, fire or flood to home and other covered reasons.
Travel Delay covering up to $100 of additional expenses if your trip is delayed for 12 or more hours for Carrier delay, including bad weather and other covered reasons.
Medical Expense coverage providing payments up to $1500 for emergency treatment of an illness or injury.
Baggage and Baggage Delay Insurance cover up to $200 for lost or stolen baggage and personal effects during your trip and up to $100 if your baggage is delayed or misdirected by your common carrier for at least 24 hours.
Medical Transportation service will arrange and pay up to $15,000 to move you to a more appropriate facility if medically necessary.
Travel accident coverage by Common Carrier of up to $10,000. In addition, the “Tour Company” includes a 24-hour hotline service, staffed by multilingual coordinators to assist you with legal, medical and related problems of an emergency nature.
Cancel For Any Reason Travel Protection Plan:
The cancellation protection must be purchased at the time of trip deposit. Some Cancel For Any Reason Travel Protection Plan’s if purchased and airline tickets are purchased and are “Published”, are not refundable unless cancellation is for Medical reasons (doctor’s letter). If cancellation is with no doctor’s letter the airlines will issue a credit voucher.
Problem Handling:
If you have any queries or problems, please contact the representative and/or the resort. Please address your complaint with the airline and/or resort. Do not wait until you return home. You as the traveler(s), agree that any claim against the airline and/or resort shall be made by the passenger in writing and received by the airline and/or resort no later than 30 days after the event causing the claim; otherwise the claim will be invalid.
